How is the health of semen evaluated?

The health of semen can only be evaluated properly by an andrologist through a semen analysis. Sperm quantity and quality are the bedrocks of evaluation. The health of semen is evaluated by the main factors known as motility and count. Sperm count greater than 15 million /ml is normal and a motility of greater than 50 % is considered satisfactory.
